General information about truck tippers
Truck tippers are special facilities that are used for unloading drop-side truck with bulk cargo. There are two types:
1. Static – they are usually used on the elevators (for grain). 2. Displaceable – they are usually used on platforms of barnyards and grain stores, transfer platforms, and are also used for crushed stone, ore mineral and other similar materials.
How does a truck tipper work: on the special oblique drop platform a truck drives on a gallery of a truck tipper. After the lorry side (backside or lateral) is opened, an operator lifts the truck to the necessary angle; this allows unloading by means of cargo falling to the inlet hopper.
