The manufacture of processing equipment and construction of grain facilities and elevators that are various in scale and requirements, is the main focus of “SmartGrain”. Based on the experience and professionalism of the staff, “SmartGrain” is able to cope with tasks no matter how complex they might be.
“SmartGrain” supplies full-fledged grain-complexes (grain-cleaning complexes) and grain elevators as well as full range of  equipment for reconstruction and modernization of various types of agricultural facilities. Basic elements of a standard grain complex:
1. Dump pits
2. Headhouse with hoppers for waste
3. Hopper tanks

5. Silo complex consisting of flat bottom silos

Depending on customer’s needs, “SmartGrain”’s grain-cleaning facilities vary by capacity, storage volume, and complexity of the technical plan. The company can also present large elevating constructions with a broad technical plan and a large storage volume, as well as s grain-complexes of a smaller size and capacity, which are a more modern alternative to out-of-date complexes like “ZAV”.
At the present time, “SmartGrain” takes an active part in retooling the grain industry of the Russian Federation from complexes like “ZAV” on the up-to-date highly-productive grain complexes.


THE DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNICAL PROCESS OF THE STANDARD GRAIN COMPLEX


The technology developed by “SmartGrain” presents an uninterrupted principle of a grain complex’s work, providing more effective loading of the equipment, reduction of out-of-service time, decreasing energy consumption, improving economic efficiency.
Logistics of a grain-cleaning complex is calculated in such a way as to provide in-parallel reception of two different grain-crops in two independent streamlines without intercrossing routes according to the following scheme:
- Acceptance
- Coarse separation
- Drying
- Primary purification
- Storage
- Unloading


The separation of grain received from vehicles consists of two separate entry points.


After depositing the grain, the grain is then delivered to the headhouse via two bucket elevators (one bucket elevator for each entry point).


Then the grain is delivered to two grain-cleaning lines, each of them has a scalperator (intake precleaner) and grill separator.
After being cleaned in the scalperators, the grain is delivered to the hopper tanks. In case of high amounts of grain impurities it is possible to pass the grain through the separators once more.


After the hopper tanks, the grain is delivered to grain dryers (one – on each line), where the grain is dried. After drying, the grain is delivered to the hopper tanks, afterwards it moves to the head house, or if necessary to the recycling.


After drying in the headhouse, the grain is cleaned in the separators until the grain meets commercial standards, afterwards the grain is delivered for storage to a grain-storage section.


The grain is stored in flat bottom silos, which have a ventilation system, temperature monitoring system and power-driven discharge.


After storage the grain is delivered to the headhouse via conveyors which are situated in the under-silo gallery. From the headhouse the grain can be sent for the dispatch, the pumping, or to the underworking.


Apart from the listed operations, there can be a wide range of other routes, that can contain pipage from one silo to another, additional steps in cleaning, drying, discharging after grain cleaning or grain drying etc.
